Subject: Cape Cod Canal Shoal / East Entrance

MA - CAPE COD CANAL
A 29.3 foot MLLW shoal has been detected in the east end entrance
approximately 200' into the improved channel extending from the south jetty
in the area of buoy number 7. Due to the greater range of tide in this area,
vessels with a draft of 32 feet can be accommodated with careful planning
and appropriate notice of transit.

All vessels requesting transit with a draft greater than 25 feet should
contact and consult well in advance with the Marine Traffic Controller. Tel.
(978) 318-8500

See attached file.

Thank you,
Brian Mulvey
